Even if I didn't HAVE to, I'd choose "C)" every time. And Happy Anniversary!!!!!

Q

Any chance we will see you in Hattiesburg, MS soon?

Bret Mosley responded on 10/11/2011
A

My team is working on a possible 11/19 date there. I also have a connection with T-Bones Records & hope to do an in-store when I come to town. Hope to see you there!

Q

Of all the songs you perform, which is your favorite?

Bret Mosley responded on 10/11/2011
A

It's usually whatever song I've written most recently. That is the case right now with a song I wrote in Denver last month entitled "Calling Out". It's slow, it's in 6/8...unlike anything I've written before. That said, I have so many beautiful memories of playing my version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" as an encore. My newest song feels like my own "Hallelujah"...my own "Blood of Eden". Thank you for that question!

Q

What's your guilty pleasure?

Driving an F-250 Super Duty V-10 Triton through NYC.

Q

Have you busted out that pretty new song yet?

Bret Mosley responded on 10/11/2011
A

Yep. I was the first act at Blackswoods Music Festival in PA a few weeks ago & I closed my set with the song (Calling Out). A couple walked up to me right after I finished - the fella said, "Bret, we just want you to know that we got engaged during that song." Pretty wonderful feeling. I hung out with them quite a bit over the course of the weekend.

Q

How long til you succumb to the overwhelming demand and relocate to the Colorado?

Bret Mosley responded on 10/11/2011
A

The sooner the better! I'd move there today for Love, tomorrow for Money. As soon as I get regularly busy in the Northwest it will only make sense to be there...then it will be in the center of everything I'm doing. I'll be back in the Rockies for all of January and all of March. The January tour will be with my drummer Zac Tillotson, from Oxford Mississippi. Not to be missed!

Q

If you could meet anybody (past or present), who would it be?

Bret Mosley responded on 10/11/2011
A

The are many...any and all people alive before rampant agriculture, Crazy Horse, Geronimo, Cochise, Pablo Picasso, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Chris Whitley, Paul Simon, Salvador Dali, Isadora Duncan, Charlie Chaplin...

Q

What advice would you give beginner artists?
